We all know how difficult healthy living and eating can be. Aside from the general lack of motivation I have after work each day, the thought of taking the time to prepare a nice meal just for myself is too much. I’ve never been overly excited about cooking, and living out of home has confirmed that feeling.
I’m twenty-five years old. I have just completed my Bachelors Degree in Media and Communications and I am four months into my first full-time position in my industry. It’s safe to say – I’m exhausted. I use what feels like double my brain power each day, so by the time I get home from work, the last thing I want to do is follow a recipe for a few hours so that I can eat it in five minutes. The problem is, I’ve now fallen into the trap of eating junk food after work, which is something I really don’t want to do.
I know I’m not alone in this, which is why so many people are subscribed to low carb meal delivery. Melbourne residents just find them so convenient. They taste delicious and save me so much time after work. It’s such a relief knowing that after the hour-long commute that concludes my eight hour day, I can come home and sit down for the rest of the evening.
Having healthy food delivered to my door has changed my life and guess where I got the idea from? My elderly boss who still runs on the treadmill for an hour each day. If I can be anywhere near as fit as her in fifty years, I’ll be seriously impressed with myself. Hopefully these meals are the first step to becoming like her, or at least giving me the energy to run on the treadmill for over twenty minutes a day. I mean, that’s something else, right? Sure that’s not normal.
